Blueprint is a fast-growing business intelligence and performance management consultancy. We created a new brand identity for Blueprint that differentiates the company through striking use of colour and headline copy, and the use of images that reflect its thoughtful approach and core skills. With the re-branding process complete, Blueprint asked us to apply the new brand identity across the full range of marketing material – including online and printed channels, events and the company’s office environment.
As an ambitious contender in a competitive market, Blueprint needed to punch above its weight. In all its manifestations, the new brand identity would have to make an impact in order to register Blueprint’s presence strongly with potential customers and business partners.
We aimed for boldness and variety in all our creative work, using a wide colour palette, striking colour contrasts and thought-provoking photography in every application of the identity. Our aim was to set Blueprint apart from its competitors, which in many cases had opted for an anodyne ‘hi tech’ look. We wanted the Blueprint brand to make its presence felt, leaving customers in no doubt whose marketing material they were viewing. The company wanted a consistent look and feel for all of its collateral and gave us the freedom to apply the brand right across the board. We created a new website, a full range of brochures covering all of Blueprint’s target sectors, fact sheets about important products and technologies, and a series of direct mail postcards and give-aways. We re-branded Blueprint’s important annual customer event, ‘The Power of Information,’ designing banners and stylish delegate packs. And when Blueprint grew out of its original premises, we applied the brand across its training centre and new offices.
Blueprint’s sales team believes its new brand identity has helped the firm to enter the premier league of the UK’s growing business intelligence and performance management marketplace, and given it the confidence to take on the best-known players.
