The printing industry has been through a terrible time in the last few years and only the really well run and strong are surviving. Having just been bought by the Park Group we are only too aware of this. Competition is declining, yet demand for print is falling faster, so, to survive, companies are combining to pool knowledge, skills and equipment.  So the simple answer is yes, but fortunately it isn’t that simple.

A famous statement made by Benny Landa, the inventor of digital offset printing and founder of Indigo who are now owned by HP. Many consider Benny to be the father of modern day digital printing and when you consider that he formed Indigo back in 1977, it’s clear to see that he was quite the visionary.

The 'death' of lithographic print has been hyped over the last couple of years. But I have to say, this is not my experience.

Never has there been such a diverse range of different kinds of lithographic printing available. With a fantastic range of recycled or FSC paper products and increasing creative print finishes on the market, the consumer is spoilt for choice.
